With our sales pipeline editor, you can set up and manage one or more sales pipelines based on your individual sales processes. This allows you, for example, to use customised sales pipelines for different product groups with customised sales phases and different follow-up settings. For example, you could use a sales pipeline with many phases and longer follow-up intervals for expensive, consultation-intensive products with long sales cycles, and next to it you could use another shortened sales pipeline for less consultation-intensive products.
Please note: An activated sales pipeline cannot be deleted, only deactivated. Once a sales pipeline has been deactivated, it is no longer possible to reactivate it.
Create and manage your sales pipelines
1. To create a new sales pipeline, click under Settings (1) on Sales pipelines (2):
2. You can now add a new sales pipeline by clicking on the plus icon at the top right of the screen. A new sales pipeline tile is then added. Assign a unique name to your sales pipeline and, if desired, add an appropriate description:
3. Confirm the entry by clicking on the green tick:
4. Now you can define the actual sales pipeline on the Sales pipeline tab in the lower display area:
5. Use the New phase button to add a new phase. In order to be able to edit the phase according to your needs, you must then click on the pencil icon:
6. Give the phase a name and determine the phase durations. The phase duration describes the maximum time a lead may be in the phase before it is considered overdue. Read more about this in the article Phase duration and follow-up emails. Confirm your entries by clicking on the green tick:
By the way: If you want to delete a phase, you can do so at this point via the trash can icon on the right side.
7. Once you have added all the phases you need, confirm your entry by clicking on Save:
8. At this point you can also activate and configure the follow-up emails for the corresponding sales pipeline. To do this, click on the Follow Up tab. There you can first move the slider next to Activate to the right (1) before setting the interval under (2):
Do not forget to confirm your settings by clicking on Save (3).
9. Your sales pipeline is now fully configured, but is currently still a draft. In this status you can edit and delete it (via the three dots at the top right of the sales process tile), but you cannot, for example, integrate it into a marketplace. To do this, you must first activate the sales pipeline. The Activate button is located on the sales pipeline tile. Clicking on it opens a small window in which you confirm once again that you really want to activate the sales pipeline:
10. As soon as the sales pipeline has been activated, the sales tile no longer shows Draft, but active. In this status you could also set it as default, again via the three dots in the top right of the sales pipeline tile:
A sales pipeline that is set as default is used within any new created marketplace. This may be useful if you have several marketplaces, many of which have the same sales pipeline and only a few of which deviate from this rule. As shown in the screenshot above, you can also duplicate the sales pipeline, which may be helpful if you want to create a similar sales pipeline to the existing one.
Use your sales pipelines within your marketplaces
1. Open the settings of the marketplace whose sales pipeline you want to edit:
2. Open the Sales Pipeline area. If you have defined a default sales pipeline, this will be used automatically:
3. With a click on the pencil symbol you can adapt or exchange the sales pipeline:
4. Then click on the small arrow on the right side: 5. The available sales pipelines are now displayed in a drop-down menu:
6. Select the desired sales pipeline and confirm the selection by clicking on the green tick:
The desired sales pipeline has now been stored accordingly in your marketplace settings!
