Until now, every active coworker of your company was notified whenever a lead was assigned to your company or a new lead offer came in (with the exception of the field worker role). In many companies, however, only a small group takes care of accepting leads — for everyone else, these emails were unwanted mail. That changes now: from now on, you decide who receives lead notifications — company-wide and, if needed, even per marketplace.
What is changing?
1. Company-wide setting — for lead assignments and lead offers
- On the coworkers page (Settings → Coworkers), company administrators will find the new Notifications tab.
- There you choose between All active coworkers (default) — the previous behavior — and Only selected coworkers: then only the coworkers you selected receive the notifications whenever a lead is assigned directly to your company or offered via a marketplace.
- The setting applies equally to email and push notifications.
- The explicit selection takes precedence over the role rule: a coworker with the field worker role also receives the notifications if you select them.
- Changes are saved immediately — and when you switch back to All active coworkers, your curated selection is kept in case you want to switch back later.
2. Own responders per marketplace — for lead offers
- If you participate in marketplaces as a lead recipient, you can additionally refine the recipients of lead offers per marketplace.
- To do so, open the marketplace on which you act as a lead recipient and switch to the new Notifications tab. There you choose between Use company-wide setting (default) and Own responders for this marketplace.
- With own responders, only the selected coworkers receive the offers of this marketplace — offers from other marketplaces and direct lead assignments continue to follow your company-wide setting.
- Managing this configuration requires the marketplace management permission.
Your safety net
- No notification is ever lost: if no selection has been made, or if all selected coworkers have since become inactive, the next higher level automatically applies again — the company-wide setting or the default behavior.
- If selected coworkers are no longer active, the interface points this out to you with a warning.
What do you need to do?
The new settings are available to lead-receiving companies as of now — no action is required on your part. Lead providers will not see the two tabs on the coworkers overview and the marketplace detail page.
