✨ We're excited to announce a new feature that makes sure sales partners never miss a lead again: push notifications.
leadtributor now delivers important events as real notifications straight to the smartphone or desktop browser – even when leadtributor isn't open. New lead offers and assignments reach lead handlers instantly, without having to rely on emails or a look into the app. The familiar email notifications remain unchanged – push is an additional, faster channel on top.
What's new?
leadtributor sends push notifications for two key events:
- New lead offer – Sales partners are notified immediately when a lead is offered to them. The special part: the notification includes the "Accept" and "Decline" buttons right away. One click is enough, and the offer page opens with the chosen action – there is no faster way to respond to a lead offer.
- Lead assigned – As soon as a lead is assigned directly to your company, the responsible team members receive a notification. Clicking it opens the lead page immediately.
How to enable push notifications
After your next login, a banner appears in leadtributor: "Get notified instantly about new leads & assignments?" One click on "Enable now" and a confirmation in your browser is all it takes to set up notifications.
Alternatively – and for managing them later – you can always find the feature in your user profile in the "Notifications" section. There you enable notifications and see the current status at a glance.
Important: Activation always applies per device and browser. We recommend enabling notifications on both desktop and smartphone – that way lead handlers are informed instantly even on the go. If notifications are already active on other devices, leadtributor automatically reminds you to switch them on when you use a new device.
Managing connected devices
In the "Notifications" section of your profile you see a list of all connected devices – for example "Chrome on Windows" – including the time since the device has been connected. You can sign out individual devices there with a single click. Push notifications are active as long as at least one device is connected.
Supported browsers and devices
- Desktop: Chrome, Firefox, Edge and Safari (macOS) are supported.
- Android: Push notifications work directly in the mobile browser. You can also install leadtributor as an app here, which makes opening it even easier.
- iPhone/iPad (iOS): Here Apple requires that leadtributor is first added via the share icon using "Add to Home Screen". The app shows a step-by-step guide for this right during activation. iOS does not display the "Accept"/"Decline" buttons in notifications for marketplace leads. Tapping the notification still takes you directly to the lead offer page.
If notifications are blocked in your browser, leadtributor shows suitable instructions for unblocking them – tailored to the browser you are using.
What do you need to do?
Push notifications are available as of now. Simply enable them via the banner or in your user profile under "Notifications" – ideally on all devices you work with.
For lead providers: recommend enabling them to your sales partners — especially with lead offers every minute counts, and the current push notifications are aimed at sales partners. Nothing changes about the existing email notifications.
