As of now, as marketplace operator you can determine the distribution period. This makes it possible to exclude certain days or times from the distribution. Here is a small preview of the new feature:
What's new?
- In the distribution settings of the corresponding marketplace, you have now the possibility to set distribution periods.
- You can define work days and times on which distribution should take place.
- Days or times when distribution is not to take place are excluded both in terms of escalation and in terms of initial distribution.
- Here is an example: My distribution process includes two distribution steps, each with a phase duration of 24h. Distribution takes place Monday to Friday between 8 am and 6 pm GMT.
If a lead enters leadtributor on Sunday, it will not be distributed via the first distribution step until Monday at 8 am GMT, as Sunday has been excluded for distribution and the distribution times Monday-Friday have been set between 8 am and 6 pm GMT. If the lead is sent to leadtributor at 9 am on Friday and offered on a marketplace, the second escalation step will not be started until 8 am on Monday, since Saturday and Sunday have been completely excluded. Thus, the lead remains in the first distribution until Monday at 08:00.
- Note on time zones: all times refer to GMT time zone. In Germany we have CET (GMT+1) in winter and CEST (GMT+2) in summer. In other words, if you want German winter time to be distributed between 8 am and 6 pm, you would have to enter 7 am to 5 pm.
When does it change?
The release took place on March 20, 2023 and is available to all marketplace operators.
